She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frederick Nutt and Gladys Carpenter Nutt. She is survived by: her spouse Raeford Lee Sears; her daughters, Stephanie Sears Yates (Woody Herman Yates) of Cary and Vickie Sears Ryals (Charles Leon Ryals) of Fuquay-Varina; her grandson Matthew Tyler Yates (Lauren) of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Tyson Franklin Yates and Anderson Raeford Yates; and also Kenneth Allen Ryals (Shannon) of Georgetown, SC..
