He is survived by: his parents, Delphyne Webster of Youngsville, NC and Donnell Thornton, Sr. of Oxford, NC; his children, Akayla Harris of Creedmoor, NC, Dakita Thornton of Cary, NC, Taylor Thornton of Louisiana and Troyrian Thornton of Louisiana; his close friend Shashawn Anderson of Durham, NC; his stepmother Pearl Thornton of Stem, NC; and his siblings, David Edwards of Youngsville, NC, Keith Thornton of Creedmoor, NC and Kelly Thornton of Stem, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home Chapel (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
