She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Lamon Sheppard and Evelyn Swing Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband James Robert Everett, III (Bob); her sons, Ryan Everett, Joel Everett and Tyler Everett; her grandchildren, Mary-Jane Everett and Ada Everett; her siblings, Lynne Quiroga and Dr. David Sheppard; her sister-in-law Rebecca Deatherage; and her nieces and nephews, Ashley Palasota, Sara Metzinger, Lauren Quiroga, Cole Sheppard and Carter Sheppard.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a funeral home visitation is not scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or Transitions of Wake County.
