He is survived by: his wife Jewel; his children, Michael Tolan (Renee), Sydney, Addison and Thomas Tolan; his stepson Steve Rutledge (Elizabeth); his stepgranddaughter Lillian; his stepdaughter Bonnie Rutledge; his sister Thomasina (Donald Ross); and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Henderson (Patricia), Jean (Bob Joiner) and Dick Hopkins.
