He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Holt Drum (Dosie); his children, Karyn Cecile Drum of Tucumcari, NM, David Jerry Drum, Jr. (Hilda) of Athens, GA and Kenneth Houston Drum (Nuria) of Apple Valley, CA; his grandchildren, Houston Drum (Sally), Maxx Drum, Forest Pivirotto, Dayna McGrath (Daniel), Sage Pivirotto, Mesa Pivirotto, Rihanna Drum, Katherine Drum and Austin Drum; his great grandchild Ezra Drum; his siblings, Nancy Burge Clark of Weaverville and Austin Drum (Ruth) of Cary; and his niece Kathy Gerhardt of Black Mountain.
