It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Lee Spurgeon (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lucille Spurgeon; his grandson Kyle Smith; his wife Connie Spurgeon; his father Harold Spurgeon; his daughters, Cori Smith (Andy) and Kati Sessoms (Chris); his grandchildren, Logan Smith, Shaylyn Smith, Aubrey Sessoms and Tessa Sessoms; his siblings, Tom Spurgeon (Donna), Roger Spurgeon, Helen Traul (Joe), Linda Sample (Larry) and Susan Trout; his brothers-in-law, Johnny Ashburn (Nancy) and Ronnie Ashburn (Carlene); and his friend Jay Plummer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
