She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Willis and Mary Faircloth Willis; and her brother Joseph "Robert" Willis. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Tim" Downes; her son Everett "Wayne" Roberts (Wendy) of Zebulon; her siblings, Elizabeth "Dooren" Lee (Charles) of Four Oaks and Marion "Fran" Willis (Kathy) of Lizella, GA; her grandson Jacob Roberts of Zebulon; and her niece Jennifer Flood.
