He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Cole and Elnola Stewart Cole; and his siblings, Maxine Richardson (W. Blue) and Paul H. Cole of Jackson Springs. He is survived by: his daughter Debra Edwards (Stanley) of Raleigh; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Edwards (Marsha) of Wendell, NC and Jennifer Dwyer (Matt) of Alexandria, VA; and also, Claire, Douglas, Wesley and Hailey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
