It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Wilhelmina (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Madsen and Therese Madsen; her brother Patrick; and her husband Reginald of Matteis. She is survived by: her children, Florence, Christina, Reginald II and Jean Marc; her grandchildren, Stefanie, Jennifer, Gary, Nicole, Christopher, Alexander, Reginald III, Shane, Annalise, Sebastian and Isabelle; and her great grandchildren, Tucker, Adelaide and Lola.
