Carlos Yates Jordan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos Yates Jordan in Cary, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry Jordan, Sr. and Annie Mae Beasley Jordan; his siblings, George Henry Jordan, Jr., James Jordan and Marjorie Beasley Jordan Matthews; and his former wife Dollie Gray Morris Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thomas Jordan; his children, Carla Marie Jordan Michaels (Mike) and James Wright Jordan; his stepdaughter Tamara Lynn Sanderford; his grandchildren, Anna Grey Michaels, Lauren Elizabeth Jordan and James Wright Jordan II; and his sister-in-law Jennie Morris Pegram (Elizabeth Dominick Jordan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
