He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Madison Ryan (Dan) and Alex Rivers; his grandchildren, Owen of Cary and Riley Ryan of Cary; his in-laws, Jimmy and Joyce Warren of Newton Grove; his siblings, Julie Rivers of Mebane, Ben Rivers (Karen) of Kernersville and Van Rivers (Beth) of Mulberry; his brother-in-law Kent Warren (Melissa) of Goldsboro; and his friends, Jeff and Dawn Brown of Chapel Hill. He is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.
