It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Whitt of Cary, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Armstead Cletus Thompson and Blanche Thompson; her husband Jimmie R. Whitt, Sr.; and her siblings, Patsy Thompson Smith, Freddie Thompson and Teddy Thompson.

She is survived by: her sons, Jimmie Whitt, Jr. and Tommy Whitt; and her granddaughter Mickayla Whitt.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to the SPCA of Wake County.
