She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Alford King; and her children, Lauren and Chris. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Read King; her son-in-law Kevin McClain; her grandchildren, Cara, Anna and Josh; her sister Elizabeth Thompson of Asheboro, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Tyre Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson, Gary Thompson and Lory Beth Huffman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary, where Annette was a long-time member and deacon, and served as teacher for the JOY Sunday school class since 1993.
