It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Mayo of Cary, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Mayo. He is survived by: his mother Mable Parker Mayo of Rocky Mount, NC; his daughter Velvet Mayo of Springfield, TN; and his siblings, Marvin E. Mayo of Rocky Mount, NC, Wayne A. Mayo of Rocky Mount, NC, Kendall Mayo of Rocky Mount, NC, Terry Mayo of Jarratt, VA, Yvonne Mayo-Wilkins of Garner, NC and Marilyn Mayo of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
