It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen C. Basala (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allen C. Basala to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Basala and Bessie Marie Basala; his parents-in-law, Charles B. and Annie Pearl Cooke; his niece Christina Georgiou; and his brother-in-law Bill Cooke.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Angie Moore (Kevin) and Allison Prescott (Derick); his grandchildren, Christian, Kylie, Keller, Jakin, Haven, Nia and Levy; his sisters, Dianne (Gary Berlin) and Brenda (William X. Spencer); and his sisters-in-law, Gail Cooke and Jean Cooke (Ed). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wake County Wildlife Club Foundation at PO Box 6058, Raleigh, NC 27628.
