He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Glenn Caviness and Margaret Batchelor Caviness; and his sister Glenda Schilling. He is survived by: his wife Amy Callahan Caviness; his son Glenn Caviness (Jennifer) of Carthage; his sisters, Lea Scott (Les) of Southern Pines and Barbara McDaniel (Jack) of Pennsylvania; and his granddaughter Laura Caviness.
