He is survived by: his wife Hilda Howard; his children, Karen Marsh (Ray) of Carthage, NC, Bennie Howard Jr. (Dawn) of Hawkins, TX, Bonnie Clark (James) of Livingston, CA and Clarence Howard of Carthage, NC; his grandchildren, Amanda Mashburn, Amber Boyd (Jason), Brandon Mashburn, Jason Marsh, Kaitlyn Marsh, McKayla Howard, Tyler Pruitt (Rosie), Katie Vowell, Emily Vowell and Ezekiel Vowell; his great grandchildren, Felicity Logan, Hannah Boyd and Luke Boyd; and his niece Deborah Dai'Re (Eddie).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
