He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Yow and Bessie Tillman Yow of Carthage. He is survived by: his wife Edna Talbert Yow; his children, Paula Yow Montgomery (James) of Burlington and James Yow II (Rosemary) of Dallas, TX; his grandsons, Jacob Yow, James Yow and John Yow; and his sister Faye Yow Bailey (Jerry) of Broadway. He is also survived by three nieces.
