It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Franklin Wood of Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Vestal "Cowboy" and Addie Connell Wood; and his granddaughter Cory Wood. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Brady Wood; his children, Cathy Gore Beck of Morrisville and Gary Wood of Carthage; his grandsons, Joshua Wood (Sara) and John Gore; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Charleigh and Bryce.
