She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Jason and Maida Williams Garner; her husband Richard McNeill; her children, Althea McNeill and Garry McNeill; and her son-in-law Donald Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughter Jewelene Phillips of Carthage; her grandchildren, Bryan Phillips (Michelle Phillips) of Carthage, Denise Vess (Theorde Vess) of Black Mountain, Candace Garner (Mark Garner) of Robbins, Nakia Hill, Chad Coward of Raleigh, Vinson McNeill of Carthage and Faith Lanning (Michael) of Greensboro; her great grandchildren, Heath McNeill, Turner McNeill, Dylan Moore, Blake Garner, Shayla Ritter, Layne Martindale, Matt Lanning and Josh Lanning; and her great great grandchildren, Stephen McNeill, Jacob Murphy and Joshua Murphy.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Louise McNeill to Yates-Thagard Baptist Church.
