It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Texie Elder Garner of Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 93, on March 19, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Williams Garner and Alice Brown Garner of Robbins; her husband Worthy Garner; and her siblings, Grace Cockman, Edna May, Flora Cagle, Donna Rose Ritter, Hardy Garner, Coolidge Garner, Russell Garner and Herbert Garner.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Lou Steele (Preston); her grandsons, Adam (Ashley) and Stainles (Sophie); her great grandchildren, Briana, Kelsey, Adena, Hunter, Lilly Ann, Walker and Aliyana; and her sister Ethelene Davis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family asked that we follow COVID precautions, including wearing a mask during all services.
