It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Patterson Williamson (Carthage, North Carolina), who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cary Wendell and Josephine Whitaker Patterson; her husband Joseph Wesley Williamson; her siblings, Ronnie, J. D., Dale, Peggy and Sheila Mae; and her grandson Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph "Tim" Williamson (Patricia), Karen (Kirk Martin), Linda (Charles Auman) and Jackie (Jesse Davis); her siblings, Gail (Mark Johnson), Virginia Patterson, Connie (Wes Harrison) and Lacy Patterson; and her grandchildren, Daniel G., Jamie, Wesley, Daniel A., Jessica, Shannon, Amy and Pam. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
