She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jefferson Jenkins and Mary Pearl Frye Jenkins; and her daughter Margie Lynn Schnabel. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Douglas Short; her siblings, Gerldine Jenkins and Wilburt Jenkins of Jackson Springs; and her children, Marvin Lee Short (Patty), Mary Alisa Barnett (Ricky) and Marsha Lorraine Beal (Jeremy). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
