She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Harriss Tyson and Lucien Person Tyson; and her sister Jane Tyson Hunt. She is survived by: her nieces, Jane Hunt Worley (Samuel) of Raleigh and Joanna Hunt Davis (Joseph); and her great-niece Maggie Davis Johnson (Zach).
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Carthage (110 S Ray St, Carthage, NC 28327).
