We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 77, Roy Williams Jr. of Carthage, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Roy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Williams and Hazel Garner Williams; his sister Joy Goodhue; and his granddaughter Aniston Williams. He is survived by: his wife Carol Martin Williams; his sons, Chris Williams (Trisha) and Michael Williams (Angela); and his grandchildren, Morgan Suddreth (Jordan), Hannah Williams and Landon Williams.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fry & Prickett Funeral Home (402 Saunders St, Carthage, NC 28327). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (2180 Carthage Rd, West End, NC 27376). A committal service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (1580 Carthage Rd, West End, NC 27376).
