It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Davis of Carthage, North Carolina, born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Davis and Gladys Lemons Davis; and his siblings, Dorothy, Margaret and Hayden Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Davis; his stepchildren, Christie Brown (Dave) of Pittsboro, Brian Cole of Carthage and Amanda Cole of Carthage; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Smith (Kenny) of Ohio and Ruby Edwards of Carthage; his grandchildren, Dylan, Carson, Jackson and Brayden; and his pet Zeva. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to COVID.
