He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Akers; and his brother Lee Akers. He is survived by: his father Jackie Akers of Vass; his wife Vicky Akers; his daughters, Amber Knutzen (Jeremiah) of Adel Iowa and Stephanie Peoples (Brandon) of Carthage; his grandson Jeremy of Robbins; and his sisters, Tammi Agatone (Dave) of Burgaw and Shelley Akers (Rob) of Vass.
