It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Carl Pennypacker of Carthage, North Carolina, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Pennypacker and Dorothy Moyer Pennypacker; his wife Barbara; his sons, Kyle and Craig Pennypacker; and his grandson Justin Pennypacker.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Pennypacker (Sharon) of Easton, PA and Kelly Mahowski (Dennis) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Jason Pennypacker (McKenna), Melissa Mitchell (Brandon), Ryan Mahowski and Nicole Varner (Preston); and his great grandchildren, Kyle and Kaylie Mitchell.
