She was predeceased by: her parent Gilbert Clyde Womack; and her brother Delbert Womack. She is survived by: her husband Hubert Gaines of Pinehurst; her mother Dorothy Mason of Broadway; her daughters, Erica Ammons of Fernley and Cindy Burton of Moncure; her stepdaughters, Renee Binkley, Michelle Bolton and Deanna Zagada; and her siblings, William Womack of Broadway, Thomas Womack of Broadway and Nancy Rochelle of Broadway. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
