It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Magdalene Garner (Carthage, North Carolina), born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Mabry and Ida Jane Hinson Mabry; and her husband James Earl Garner. She is survived by: her children, Dwight Lee Garner (Patricia) of Lexington, NC, James Mark Garner (Tracey) of Wilmington, NC and Gail Garner Flinchum (Gerald) of Thomasville, NC. She is also survived by Four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
