He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Gonzalez Cazarez and Zendaya Lopez Gonzalez; and his siblings, Bere Gonzalez and Pepe Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Irma Gonzalez; his sons, Miguel Angel Gonzalez Jr. (Sandra E. Gonzalez) of Carthage and Joshua Gonzalez (Ashley Kayla White) of Vass; his grandson Noah Joshua Gonzalez; and his siblings, Silvia Sanchez (Gonzalez), Rosie Gonzalez, Irma Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez and Cruz Gonzalez.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sanctuary Christ Community Church (220 Campground Rd, West End, NC 27376). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
