It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Ann Priest of Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis George and Annie Frye George; and her siblings, Lewis, Alberta and Jack George.

She is survived by: her significant other Richard Priest; her children, Rick Priest, Kathy Cardona and Amanda "Mandy" Blackburn (Ray); her grandchildren, Ashley Love (Jason), Justin Blackburn (Lauren) and Jordan Blackburn; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Blackburn and Barrett Blackburn.

Due to COVID, attendees are respectfully requested to wear a face mask.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks in Kathleen's honor that you make a donation to her favorite cause, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
