She is survived by: her husband Dennis West Sr.; her siblings, Keith, Joy Powers and Cheryl Ross; her children, Diane Smith (Rodney), Jamie Blue, Melony Malloy (Shane) and Dennis West Jr. (Jamie); her grandchildren, Kesley, Terri Joe, Kalie, Stephen, Amelia, Owen, Adeline and Isaac; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Avory, Roman and Levi. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yates-Thagard Baptist Church (3820 Vass-Carthage Rd, Carthage, NC 28327). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Health Hospice or Moore County SPCA in her honor, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others.
