We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2020, at the age of 81, Jimmie Ray Lucas (Carthage, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Thorne and Lessie Lee Lucas; his former wife Carolyn Dowd Lucas; his son James Robert Lucas; and his sister Carol Lucas Killian.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Reams Lucas; his daughters, Mary LeAnne Lucas of West End, Meredith Lucas Marshburn (Andrew) of West End, Nancy Elisabeth Beruk (Jeff) of Apex, Sarah Lucas Fann (Michael) of West End and Caroline Rae Kosbe (Mark) of Cary; his grandchildren, Connor Lucas, MacKenzie Smith, Reid Marshburn, Harper Fann, Sawyer Fann, Sophia Beruk and Nick Beruk; and his niece Carla Killian of Jamestown. He is also survived by His children referred to him as an animal.
