We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jesse Franklin Dowdy (Carthage, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Dowdy and Etta Maness Dowdy; his daughter Peggy Lee Dowdy; his sister Helen Ritter; and his grandson Franklin Ross Cheek.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Flinchum Dowdy; his daughters, Debbie Sullivan (Mickey) of Carthage, Phyllis Overton (Brent) of Carthage, Lynn Meyers (Al) of Carthage and Frankie Dowdy Quinn of Whitsett; and his nephew Gregory Ritter (Kinzia) of Carthage. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions seating in the church will be limited to 50 people.
