She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Gray Harris Sr. and Fonnie Blake Harris; her husband Joseph Rayford "Ray" Millikan; and her sisters, Phyllis Baines and Helen Spainhour.

She is survived by: her children, Anne M. Palmer (David) of Greenville, SC, Alan Millikan (Kathleen) of Pittsboro, NC, Meredith McDiarmid of Pinehurst, NC and Keith Millikan (Kerry) of West End, NC; and her brother Bill Harris (Joyce) of West End, NC. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
