He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve McNeill and Ruth McNeill (Byrd). He is survived by: his wife Martha Paschal McNeill; his children, Tara Perkins (Jerry) of Carthage, Carrla Hussey (Mark) of Westmore, Terry McLean (Lea) of Pinehurst, Gail Matthews (Jay) of Carthage and Tim McNeill (Susan) of Carthage; his siblings, Judy Angell (Bob) of Sanford, Janet Black (Gary) of Raleigh, Jean Patterson (Danny) of Broadway and Roy McNeill of Lillington; and his grandchildren, Whitney Bennett (Justin), Stephanie Garner (Justin), Lauren Albright (Ben), Erica Hammond (Chad), Jessica Powers (Greg), Brooke McLean, Crystal McLean, Joseph Hussey (Catelyn Sheffeild), Caleb Hussey, Ethan Hussey, John Perkins, Carlee Perkins and Seth Perkins. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
