He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Carlos and Floranna Monroe Bibey; his wife Sandra Oldham Bibey; and his siblings, Irene Miller, Carolyn Dowd and Gilbert "John" Bibey.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony James "Tony" Bibey (Karen) of Pinebluff, Layton Shawn Bibey (Waynette) of Carthage and Ashley Bibey Bullins (Michael) of Carthage; and his brothers, Joel Bibey (Geraldine) of Shallotte and Fred Bibey (Charlene) of Southern Pines. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 14 nieces and six nephews.
