Frances Bernice Hunt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, at the age of 85, Frances Bernice Hunt of Carthage, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Frances Bernice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Alfred and Alice Speer Braddock; her son Wayne Jessee; and her siblings, Clyde Braddock, Jr., Owen Braddock and Helen Coley.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Diver (Bobby) of Sanford, Karen Clark of Charlotte and Marvin "Rick" Jessee, Jr. of Carthage; and her siblings, Donald Braddock (Carolyn) of Carthage and Doris Woodell of Raeford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Priest Hill Presbyterian Church (2792 Old River Rd, Carthage, NC 28327). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
