It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Clayton Hipp of Carthage, North Carolina, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Wayne Hipp. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Brewer Hipp; his wife Teresa Frye Hipp; his children, Rev. Joanna Hipp of Oak Island and John Hipp (Elizabeth) of Garner; his stepson Matt Kinker of Hamlet; his brother Dean Hipp (Kris) of Southern Pines; and his grandchildren, Jordan Hipp and Boston Kinker.
