We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2021, at the age of 83, Dorothy Smith of Carthage, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hester and Virginia Mangum Hester; her husband Robert L. Smith; her sister Anne Jervis; her half-brother Bobby Mangum; and her grandson Heath Haire.
She is survived by: her children, Garry L. Smith (Anita) of Fuquay-Varina, Debby Hales of Laurinburg and Angela Stanley (Danny) of Bladenboro; her sister Jean Bridger of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandsons, Scott Smith (Tricia) and Ethan Stanley; and her great grandchild Graeme Smith.
All attendees are respectfully asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Moore County Hospice.
