It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debbra Childress of Carthage, North Carolina, born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Joan Dowd; her husband Steve Childress; and her brother Mike Dowd. She is survived by: her son Zach Childress of Welcome; her grandson Zeke Childress of Wallace; and her sister Pam Cameron (Thomas) of Carthage. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
