He is survived by: his wife Linda Hall Whitaker; his daughters, Karen Baker (Robbie) of Carthage and Crystal Whitaker of Carthage; his grandchildren, Amber (Drew), Caitlin, Zach, Ethan and Elizabeth; his great grandchild Wyatt; his siblings, Tina Foster of Southern Pines, Gene Whitaker (Doris) of Vass, Ray Whitaker (Mary Alice) of Carthage and Bill Whitaker of High Falls; and his sister-in-law Mary Whitaker of Vass.
