She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Andrew and Clarice Drake Frye; her son David Lamar Priest; her brothers, Jimmie Frye, Danny Frye, Tony Frye and Dennis Frye; and her sister-in-law Lois.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melisa "Missy" Nickens (Tim) of Carthage and Tonya Siege (Jeff) of Missouri; her grandchildren, Rebekah (Jacob), Samuel (Jessica), Blake, Sophia, Courtney (Brandon), Brianna (Justin) and Avery (Paige); her great grandchildren, Charlie, Whitton, Sawyer, Caleb, Della, Weston, Asher, Jason, Kayleigh, Raelynn and Brantley; her brother Gary Frye (Joneta) of Texas; and her sister-in-law Louise Frye of Arkansas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sanford Church of God (2105 Pathway Dr, Sanford, NC 27330). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at the Cameron Community Cemetery (600 Carthage St, Cameron, NC 28326).
