He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Rudolph Bishop and Mary Virginia Elizabeth Bishop (Blount). He is survived by: his wife Jenny R. Bishop of Carthage; his daughter Lucia Bishop (Lucy) of Fayetteville; his siblings, Beth Gray (Lance) of Fayetteville and Billy Bishop (Jodi) of Fayetteville; his niece Caroline Parker (Brandon); his great-nephews, Mason and Waylon; his nieces, Anna Gray and Brenna Bishop; his stepdaughters, Holly Biggs-Webb of Whispering Pines and Kerry Black Hooper (Jeramy) of Pinehurst; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Collin and Isabelle.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the FTCC Regional Fire & Rescue Training Center (775 Tom Starling Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306).
