It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Jean Stone of Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Forrest Beal and Maggie Oldham Beal; her grandparents, Joseph John Beal, Florence Hilliard Beal of Bonlee, NC, Vinson Oldham and Vallie Tally Oldham of Chatham County, NC.; her spouse Willie Mack Thomas; her son Richard Mack Thomas; and her siblings, Betty James Beal Kroninger, Norman Tull Beal, Herman Leroy Beal and Roger Edward Beal.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndee, Ricky and Cynthia D. Fowler; her son-in-law Mike Fowler of Carthage, NC; her daughter Tammie T. McConnell of Raleigh, NC; her pet Chico; and her sister Marilyn Sehen of Sanford, NC. She is also survived by ten nieces, seven nephews, and a host of "adopted" nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
