He is survived by: his parents, James "Jim" and Kathy Pies; his brother Seth T. Pies of Carthage; and his aunts and uncles, David (Brenda Pies), Michael (Lilias Pies), Brian (Jessica Pies), LaDean Seago of Southern Pines, Debbie (Chip King), Steve (Linda Lynn), Stanley (Kim Lynn) and Chris Lynn.
