She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Alexander, Nicholas and Lilly; her son Doug Perry of Carrboro; her brother Arnold Smith; her sister-in-law LaVern of Chapel Hill; and her granddaughter Dawn Neakta (Javad).
