He is survived by: his children, Steven (Trish), Shelley, Michael (Kelly Pierson), Terri, Eric and Julie; his grandchildren, Jessie Parisi (Steven), Adam Schreiber, Peter Schreiber and Salem Hansen; his wife Valerie Horwitz; his stepchildren, Phillip, Russell and Lawrence Horwitz; and his sisters, Diane Lipskind and Marian Shemberg. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Feldman Mortuary (1673 York St, Denver, CO 80206). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236).
