He was predeceased by : his mother Marion Gray (Awalt); his stepfather Ed Gray; and his brothers, Malcolm Gray, Matthew Gray and Clint Gray.

He is survived by : his wife Carrie; his sons, Russell Gray (Alana) of California and Alexander Gray (Caroline Crasnick) of Maine; his adoptive daughters, Becky Prusaczyk (Brett) and Amanda Prusaczyk; his stepdaughter Jessica Milev (Matt) of Richlands; his grandchildren, Lucy, Remy, Ariel, Adrianna, Addison and Emerson; his siblings, Linda King (Danny) of Maine, Cheryl Mitchell (Scott) of New Hampshire and Steve Ricker (Pam); and his close friend Theresa Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
